Pre-Cleaning Checklist

Preparing for Your Post-Construction Cleaning

In order to best support us in providing you with an exceptional service, please review these preparation steps prior to our arrival.

Before Cleaning Day

  • Remove All Debris & Tools: Unless you've already notified us, please make sure all heavy construction debris, leftover materials, tools, and trash are removed from the site. We can only perform the cleaning if all areas are cleared of active work items.

  • Check Cabinets & Closets: Open every cabinet, drawer, and closet to confirm they are empty and free of leftover trade materials.

  • Notify Us of Remaining Items: If any construction equipment, extra supplies, or furniture will remain on-site, please let us know in advance.

  • Power & Water On: Ensure electricity and running hot/cold water are fully active and available during cleaning.

  • Existing Damage & Wear: Please notify us in advance of any pre-existing damage or delicate surfaces (such as unsealed grout, scratched glass, loose fixtures, or fresh paint).

Appliance & Property Prep

  • Oven: Run the oven’s pre-cleaning (self-cleaning) cycle before our team arrives, if applicable.

  • Refrigerator & Freezer: Empty completely.

  • Dishwasher: If possible, run empty before our visit and leave the door open.

  • Windows & Fixtures: Remove protective plastic film, stickers, or tape from newly installed windows, appliances, or fixtures prior to our arrival.

Important Note: To ensure we can perform our standard service smoothly, the space must be prepared as outlined above. Unless prior arrangements have been made with us, any unready areas, remaining debris, or additional prep work required on-site may result in extra time and additional costs.
